Welcome. About Us.

We Are Many.

We lead district strategy to reflect changes in education, technology and safety, with a focus on Deep Learning & Innovation, Social and Emotional Well-Being and Equity.

The Long Range Facilities Development Planning Committee, led by Dr. Stella Kemp Assistant Superintendent Business Operations was launched in October 2022. This plan, developed in collaboration with a diverse group of community members, district leadership, school staff and expert planners focuses on vision for facilities to support SRVUSD educational programs. United under one District umbrella to make the most impact for learners, this plan focuses on creating equity across grade levels and campuses, evolving the legacy of SRVUSD’s award winning schools.

As SRVUSD’s community knows, our District is experiencing a variety of challenges, including aging sites and fluctuations in student population. Campus modernization and upgrades are designed to strategically address these issues so all SRVUSD students will thrive.

Our team emphasized an inclusive, participatory process to elicit a wide range of input. We facilitated focus groups with educational leadership, teachers, students, and staff. Visioning workshops were held with site administrators at each campus in February and March of 2022. Student and community engagement surveys were administered in August-October 2023 with a total of 9800 student responses and 2,258 community responses. Town Hall meetings with the broader community provided further input on campus plans. This robust process created a shared vision and strategies to modernize and upgrade our learning environments, support our students, and look to the future.

Three Integrated Frameworks

The Buildings and Land Use Framework includes strategic development and campus renewal plans to advance our academic mission and Strategic Directions.

The Sustainability Framework adopts energy use strategies to advance state and institutional goals to address a range of energy issues as part of new construction, leveraging existing solar energy and shifting to electrification.

The Accountability Framework supports the community’s investment in our schools focusing on stewardship of resources to provide all students equitable access to state-of-the-art learning environments.

Building on Strengths
Our passion for teaching and learning in our diverse community bolsters innovation and creativity to prepare for a rapidly changing world.

Enhancing Student Life
Every campus is transformed into a home away from home for all learners to feel a sense of belonging so that they can contribute to and change our world for the better.

Nurturing Community
Our commitment is to provide environments that foster healthy, prosocial communities embracing a diversity of people and experiences so that students, staff and families feel deeply connected to their school community.
To nurture and educate the whole student, our community needs to empower agency, a sense of connection and real-life application in student-centric learning environments.
